About this tool
An independent, free tool to measure and benchmark your DEGIRO portfolio fairly. Here's how the calculations work and where the data comes from.
Why we built this
The DEGIRO app shows a profit or loss per position, but no honest total return and no comparison with the market. We wanted one simple, privacy-friendly place to see how your portfolio really does — without an account and without giving away your data.
How the calculation works
- Return: money-weighted return (XIRR) based on your deposits, withdrawals and current value, in euros.
- Benchmark: your return on net contributions versus what the same contributions would have earned in the index.
- Currency: prices of US stocks are converted using the EUR/USD exchange rate.
- Positions: average-cost method for your purchase price and realised result.
A more detailed explanation is on calculating your DEGIRO return.
Data sources
Tickers are looked up via public sources (OpenFIGI) and prices via a market-data API. The three indices are represented with broadly traded index funds as a proxy. Market data may be delayed.
